1) I like elephants most. It’s really interesting to see them suck water with their long noses, which is really cute. Also, they are quite gentle in temper if you keep a proper distance with them.

2) Of course I have. When I was in the kindergarten, my parents took me to the zoo where I saw lions, zebras, tigers and many other wild animals. I was quite frightened at that time because my mon told me that these wild animals were dangerous.

3) Well, actually I’m not into going to the zoo because most of the animals are kept in cages, which seems to be cruel and they cannot run or chase each other freely on the plains.

4) No, I haven’t kept a pet because I’m the kind of person who does not have adequate patience. Raising a pet means that you have to look after him or her as your family member, which seems quite difficult for me because I am fully occupied by enormous job tasks.

Wild animals 1.Do you like to watch TV programs about wild animals?

I liked to watch TV programs about wild animals when I was a little kid. I was obsessed with the colorful birds, the giant wild elephants, the mysterious deep-sea fish and the cute wild animal cubs. But now as a grown up, I don't really watch these programs anymore. I prefer entertainment shows and movies now.

2.Did you learn something about wild animals at school?

Yes, actually, I have learned a lot about wild animals at school. In primary school, we had one subject called ‘Nature’. It has quite a lot of chapters about wild animals with vivid pictures. In middle school and high school, we start to learn the habits of the wild animals and what can we do to protect them.

3.Where can you see wild animals?

Well, it’s hard to see wild animals in the city now I suppose, unless in the zoo and aquarium. In fact, these are the only ways for most modern city kids to get in touch with wild animals. It’s the same for me. If I want to see a real wild animal, I would choose to go to the zoo or just an aquarium, which is really sad you know, the planet earth is supposed to be their homeland as well.

4.In which country do you think you can see many wild animals?

Well, I have seen quite a lot of wild animals in Australia and New Zealand. Kangaroos, koalas some local birds. But I know that in some African countries, people can see the annual wild animal migration. In these countries, for example, Kenya, people can see many wild animals that they don't usually see. I think this should be a great experience.
