雅思口语Part1范文：Meeting new people

1.Can you tell if you like someone when you meet them for the first time?Why?

I don't really think so. I guess in a very short period of time, I am only able to know some superficial characteristics of the person. I can only be sure if I would like a person based on some deeper conversations and understandings.

2.Do you often meet new people?

Unfortunately, no. I always work/study with the same group of people during the weekdays, and the only time I can make to meet new friends would be the weekends. However, I really need a good rest on Saturdays and Sundays, so I don't really have chances to do that.

3.Do you like meeting new people?

Well, I always regard myself as an extroverted person, who can get energized and motivated from meeting new friends. So, yes, I do enjoy going out to meet new people. Interacting with people that I haven’t met before can always get me excited.

4.How do you feel when new people welcome you?

Honestly, it is very probable that I will have a mixture of feelings. I mean, for sure, their enthusiasm can warm my heart and I will definitely feel honored. However, I may also feel a little bit nervous and not know how to respond if the people are too passionate.
