1. Do you often read books? When?

I enjoy reading. Actually, it’s a way to help me relax. But I don’t read books when I have work to get done, say, assignments and others tasks. Unlike most of my peers who often read books to take a brain break, I always start reading after the completion of all my works. So, it’s often night time. Because I enjoy being immersed in a book without having to take a stop and switch to other things.

2. Do you read differently now than you did before?

3. Have you ever read a novel that has been adapted into a film?

Yes. I watched that movie first and it really changed something in me. “The Intouchables”, one of the famous films to come out of France. It tells a story of an unlikely bond between a wealthy quadriplegic aristocrat Philippe and his ex-con caregiver Driss. 4. Which do you prefer, reading books or watching movies?

I would say watching movies. I know a lot of people argue that you cannot feel the power of words if you don’t read. But sometimes the combination of images, sound and music strikes me just as much and occasionally wallops me emotionally. And movies can be understood as a compressed form of books.
