雅思口语Part1范文：Cooking

Would you like to learn how to cook?

I already know how to cook! I love cooking. I learnt to cook from my grandmother. She is a really excellent cook and she can cook anything from traditional Chinese dishes to western cakes and pastries. I enjoy cooking all sorts of different foods, and today you can find a lot of recipes online. So, I’d say I am already a pretty decent cook, and I constantly try to learn new dishes.

Do you like cooking?

1.I love cooking. Well, if I have time. Cooking well can sometimes take quite a bit of time and energy, so I mainly enjoy cooking on the weekends, when I don’t have to go to work. Especially in winter, I like to cook in winter because we spend less time going outside and more time focusing on things to do in the home.

2.Yes. I really enjoy cooking. When I prepare something tasty for my families and friends, the smile on their faces can always bring me a sense of joy and success. Plus my manual ability could be improved when I am cooking food. Hence, cooking is my favorite.

Do you often bake?

1.I do bake. I bake all sorts of different cakes, biscuits and pastries. I don’t bake so often because I’m pretty busy these days, and also I don’t want to put on too much weight – that’s the problem with baking, you end up making lots of nice cakes and you want to eat them all quickly!!

2.Nearly three times a week. I am really into cooking. When it comes to weekends, I tend to get up early in the morning and make big breakfasts for my families. Sometimes, I also go shopping in the local supermarkets to prepare something tasty for my parents. It can always bring me a sense of joy and success.

Is baking very popular in your country?

I think baking is becoming more popular. Typically Chinese cuisine doesn’t involve much baking really, but now that people have much better kitchens and they have larger ovens, people are taking up baking more and more.

Do you like to eat out in restaurants or cook at home?

I prefer cooking at home to eating out in restaurants. Because I think it’s much healthier. I can keep everything under control, especially about the dose of relishes I use. If I eat outside, the cooks may overuse some seasonings or additives to flavor food. Though the food tastes good, it will do harm to my health if I eat out from time to time.

Our family has a very clear division of labor when it comes to cooking. To put it simply, my father is responsible for cooking, my mother takes charge of buying groceries, and my brother and I are responsible 。。。。余下范文省略！
