I’d like to describe a goal I want to accomplish in the near future, which is live an independent life. I mean I hope I will be able to find a decent job after graduation, which will help me to afford my own place. I think I’ll also need to learn how to cook so that I won’t have to eat out all the time, which will not only be a healthy lifestyle, but economical as well.

The first reason why I want this goal is that I’m an adult now, and it is only natural for people like me to want complete control over their own life. I mean I can’t expect my parents to continue to support me. Besides, I’ve sort of had enough of all the nagging from them. The second reason is my girlfriend. She hopes that I will stay in Shanghai after graduation so that we can be together. So, if I want a future for me and my girlfriend together, the first step is to become independent.

Well. A target I tried my best to achieve was having my own store online. It would be a place where I could do a small business and make some money at the same time.

If my memory served me correctly, it was about 2 months ago when I had this opinion for the first time. I hoped that I could reach my goal within 4 months because I knew that opening an online shop was not easy for beginners. And I had to do a lot of preparations in advance.

Actually, I have been always keen on making collections of boutiques(精品) and knick-knacks(小玩意). And I have always wanted to share with others. In my opinion, it was something that could make our homes to be more exquisite(精致的) and it was something that could bring us happiness. I collected tons of gadgets like crystal balls(水晶球), music boxes, pocket watches(怀表) and stuff like that.

A goal I set that I tried my best to achieve is actually losing weight, which was to reduce 5 kg in two months.
