I wanna settle in Qingdao in the future, which is a laid-back coastal city in Shandong province. I’ve never been there before but loads of friends who visited that bustling and enchanting spot recommend me to travel there. Hence, last summer vacation, I took a journey with my parents, which left lasting impression on me and I made a resolution that after I graduated from my college, I’d like to live in this city with my relatives and my future lover. Because on one hand, there are several tourist attractions and decent scenery, like Zhongshan Park, Mountain Lao, Golden Beach and other stuff. Thus, after high-intensive study or work, I have many options to get rid of stress. For example, I can hike in the mountain and as the sun is setting, the whole city is painted gold by the sunlight, which makes me feel as if I were in a different world. Besides, some senior citizens do physical exercises in the park. They do Taiji, perform swordplay, practice Chinese Kungfu and dance in the square.

When talking about attractive cities in China, there are so many names rushing into my mind(令人一下想起), like Shanghai, the center of economics, and Beijing, the capital of China. But if I had to choose one of them to live and work in, the city of Chengdu in Sichuan Province would have no match(无可匹敌). I would like to live there with my close friends. My choice is based on the following reasons.

For one thing, the life pace in Chengdu is quite slow. People there live with little pressure. For another, Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan province. Located in the west of Sichuan basin, the land of Chengdu is flat, and the river network is wide. The agriculture is highly developed because of the fertile soil. As a result, Chengdu has enjoyed the reputation of "the land of abundance(天府之国)" since ancient times.
