I guess I will never be a doctor in the future. Doctor is an ordinary profession, but its contents and duties make it extraordinary. As a doctor, you must be very professional, rigorous and have the courage to face death. And for me, the hardest part is facing death every day.

As we know, if I want to be a doctor I will first have to receive an undergraduate Bachelor’s degree which will take me roughly four to five years. After medical school I may be required to complete a one to three years paid residency. For me, in the future, it’s unrealistic to take such a considerable amount of time to become a doctor.

A job that I would not like to do is the pilot. As for how I find about it, when I was in primary school, I once watched a short documentary about the daily routine of the pilot with my classmates, which left a deep impression on me. The documentary featured the high standard of being a professional pilot and the intensive and comprehensive trainings that one must undergo before entering this profession. When it comes to what kind of people might be able to do this challenging job, those with super healthy bodies and excellent flight endurance are supposed to be desirable candidates. The job I am not willing to do in the future is an insurance salesman, who tries to persuade others to buy the products launched by the insurance company. This position does not require diplomas, qualifications, or special skills. I learned about this job when I was a little child. Back then my father just broke his right arm during a car accident and was taking rest at home. One of our distant relatives, an insurance salesman, heard about this news from nowhere. One day, she suddenly appeared at the doorstep and paid a visit. She pretended how sorry she was for my father’s misery. But after a few words, she started to talk about how much trouble we could have saved if we had bought the insurance and it was not too late to buy now.
