Living in Shanghai is a wonderful experience. Its vibrant culture, fashion, food and nightlife would fascinate any girl like me. I also like the performances at some of the theatres in Shanghai. Today, I would like to talk about a theatrical performance that I enjoyed a few months ago with my family.

The name of the show is “Les Miserables”, based on the novel written by Victor Hugo. This novel is considered to be a great masterpiece which analyzes the French society and discusses good and evil. The show is about the life story of Jean Valjean, a kind man who is unequally treated by the society.

范文2：

A performance that I watched recently was a ladyboy show presented by a theatre in Thailand.

I remember that was the very first exaggerating show that I’ve ever watched in my life. The performance was conducted by a number of performers who changed their biological male gender when they were kids. The performance was a T-show kind of like those Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows, but they had their own dressing styles. I have to say that they were amazingly beautiful, and they were even hotter than real women.

Last month, I went to Greeny Wu's concert with my roommate Aaron. The concert was held in the Mercedes-Benz Center in Pudong, Shanghai and we spent an hour getting there from our home. It was such a long time but worth it!

Aaron is a big fan of Sodagreen, a band from Taiwan. Greeny Wu was the lead singer of Sodagreen and he wrote a lot of popular songs for other singers, too. From my perspective, he is a very talented and hardworking singer but I don’t pay too much attention to him because I’m a fan of Kpop. When Aaron heard that Greeny was going to hold a concert in Shanghai, he was very excited and snapped up(抢购) the tickets immediately.

1)What’s the difference between watching performance live and watching it on TV?

I think the biggest difference is that watching performance live means we can see the performers and find out how they interact with audience, but if we watch TV, the only thing that we can see is the big screen. Another thing is that we watch live shows with many people, while basically we watch TV alone at home.

2) Which do you prefer? Traditional performance or concert?

3) Should governments provide financial support to promote traditional performance?

4) Is learning drama or dancing helpful for children?
