I would like to talk about the occasion when I forgot to bring my ID card with me before boarding(登机) last summer. It was a funny but heart-warming(暖心的) experience. I planned to take a flight to Shanghai to spend holiday with my sister. I had expected that trip for a long time. But unfortunately I overslept(睡过头) that morning so I packed my baggage hurriedly(匆忙地) and then went to the airport by taxi.

When I was going to get off the taxi, I suddenly realized that I had left my ID card on my father’s car because I just used it last week when I finished the driving test. What bad 。。。。余下范文省略！

忘记带钥匙：

I am actually a really forgetful person, and forgetting things is not something strange in my life.But the one experience that really impressed me was the time when I left my keys in my apartment. It took place about a year ago when I was still living in a shared apartment.

I remember that I received a call on a Sunday night from my guys asking me to hang out in a bar. This guy had told me that there was a really stunning performance in a very short time, and asked me to be there as soon as possible. I got really excited, put on my jacket, grabbed my wallet and headed to the bar. Yes I did have a great time.

忘记妈妈生日：

I forgot to celebrate my mother's birthday last year. That was the most unthinkable thing for me because I had never forgotten her birthday before. It was actually the time really close to my final exam and I was preparing for it. I thought I wouldn’t forget her birthday and I planed to make her a cake and prepare a hearty meal for her. But I forgot it somehow just on the birthday. I was really busy with my revisions and stuff. When I got home after school my dad reminded me of her birthday. The very first thing I did was that I wrote a sorry card to her. I made a list of all the reason I was glad I got her as a mother and put it in the card. Mom wasn’t really upset.

1.What kinds of things do people forget easily?

Well, I suppose some trivial things can be easily forgotten by people such as buying some groceries that you don't immediately need. For instance, sometimes I plan to get some products for daily use before they are completely run out. However, I will always forget to buy a new tube of toothpaste until there is really none left in the old one. Another type of things that people might fail to remember to do are those planned way ahead of time, like a wedding you need to attend in 6 months or a dinner you promise to have with an old friend in 4 weeks.
