Describe a risk you have taken which had a positive result冒风险做成的事

You should say:

What it was

When you took it

What the risk was

And explain why it caused a positive result

I think the riskiest thing I have ever done was to go hiking with a girl in remote countryside last summer. Actually, it was the first time that I had hiked and in hindsight, we could have easily got lost and never come back.

During the summer holiday, my partner and I decided to go hiking because we were told that it would be a lot more fun than taking the bus in the area. But, unbeknownst to us(出乎我们意料的是), was the fact that the hiking route was a lot more complex and dangerous than we’d expected, and the weather there was just so unpredictable. 范文2:

A risk I have taken which had a positive result is volunteering to become a delivery guy in my community during the COVID-19 period.

Part3

1.Do you think it is a good thing that a leader likes taking risks?

I think it is not a good thing that a leader likes taking risks. Because if you like something, chances are that you’ll do it all the time. For instance, if I like playing the piano, I will perhaps devote two to three hours playing it every day. Sounds good, right? But there is a significant difference between playing the piano and taking a risk as a leader. Firstly, playing the piano isn’t risky; there is nothing to lose while you’re playing the piano. But if you are constantly taking risks; you wouldn’t have enough time to reflect upon your decisions and in that case, losses seem almost inevitable. In addition, because we’re talking about leaders, the consequences of his or her decision impact the whole team. That means the team will suffer together if a risky project is foiled.

2.Do you think men and women would make a different choice about risk-taking? What about the young and the old?
