A mistake that I have made was actually choosing the major in my college studies.

1.How do children benefit from using dictionaries?
I think children benefit from using dictionaries because they’ll learn how to find the answer themselves through research on their own. I remember the first time I looked a word up in a dictionary was when I was five years old. And I felt very proud of myself after successfully pinpointing a difficult word in it. In addition, dictionaries are a great tool for learning given its vast storage of words and phrases. And actually, going through a dictionary is quite an interesting activity for children if they are able to read by themselves. You get to see all the word origins and usages with down-to-earth examples in dictionaries, which is a fascinating journey for children to take.
