Last semester, I passed the selection(通过选拔) in my college to join the summer camp held at Fudan University in Shanghai. This demon city(魔都) is a mecca for students majoring in business like me. I have my heart set on(梦寐以求) studying in Shanghai, and researching how Shanghai developed into the metropolis (大都会) of today. I was proud of myself that my application was accepted and I would be heading to Shanghai soon thereafter.
At the beginning, I was so astonished about the antiquities. There was The former residence (故居) of Bajin, a well-known Chinese author, the foreign embassy of Gothic style, and the valley with a history of hundreds of years. The experience I am going to tell you happened during the last summer holiday. I had stayed at home for almost a month and was already fed up with various video games and TV programs. All of my friends seemed busy with their own stuff, so I was bored to death. One day, my best friend called me and asked if I wanted to have a one-day tour with him to Xi’an, a historical city, which used to be the capital of 13 dynasties. I said yes immediately.
I looked up the timetable of the coach on the internet and it seemed that there was only one departure a day at 7 am, which means I had to get up at around 6 o’clock to catch it. For somebody like the elderly, it might be easy. But as a person who had always slept late in the last month, it was far too early.

Relaxing is not a waste of time. In fact, it allows us to do things more efficiently. Relaxing can effectively prevent fatigue, and fatigue is a signal naturally reflected by the body, reminding us that a part of the body is overloaded. If ignored, it will increase the burden on the body. Therefore, once a warning signal appears, it is wise to return the overburdened parts to normal. Everyone should do things without fatigue, and dragging a tired body and mind will not achieve much. When you are tired, you have to take a rest. After you rest, think and do it again.
