Well, a person who often gives a hand to others that I would like to say is actually Wang Jie, who is a fellow student of mine in college.

Wang is a super kind person who often does a favor to anyone he meets on campus and even in life. This often makes me feel like he is a living Bodhisattva, making contributions to others while expecting no rewards.

A time when I helped someone was actually helping my grandpa use Wechat, which has been the most popular instant communication application in China.

My grandpa was living in the countryside of my hometown and barely travel far because of his physical condition. But, he never used any of the functions on the phone except for the dialing. So, I decided to help him by teaching him to use this application at his home.

David is my neighbor. Last month, he took the college entrance examination and was on the fence(undecided) about selecting a major. I had experienced the same situation two years before. He talked to me and asked for some advice.

I didn’t give him a direct answer, because there is no perfect major. It is a good major for you, only if it suits you. The first question is about yourself. What do you like to do? After making the decision, the major will be with you for several years. You have to study it and use it in your job in the future. You should explicitly(clearly and exactly) realize what you like or dislike. After contemplating on(consider carefully) your hobbies, you need to judge your potential abilities and talent. If you are gifted, you can learn something very well without making too much effort. Your interest in your major can inspire you when you have problems understanding something, can motivate you when you get tired, can bring you happiness during your study.

Of course not. I don’t think it is helpful for the children, because they have to know that everyone should be responsible for their work. In such way, their children may take it for granted that they are allowed to rely on others. While the fact is that they should be independent because nobody could be responsible for them after they grow up.
