There is a famous cuisine in my hometown called tangbao, which is a kind of steamed soup-filled dumplings. It’s very tasty. One day in last winter I went to a restaurant serving this with my friend and we met a foreigner there.

He asked us if we could help to take a photo of him eating the tangbao. Of course we took the photo then, while waiting for our food, we started to talk about this special cuisine. Surprisingly, he told us that he thought the cooking method of tangbao was crazy and he wanted to show it to his friends. The interesting conversation I am going to tell you happened in an Italian bank. I was travelling there and since I was running out of money, I went to the bank to cash some traveler’s checks. The exchange rate was looking healthy. But when I went to the teller, they told me the computer system was temporarily down, so they could not do any transactions. They said the problem would be fixed in a minute. So I waited.

1. Do you prefer chatting face to face or texting? 

Oh, of course I opt for face to face chatting whenever it's possible 'cause communicating this way I can express my feelings and ideas much better, minimize the risk of miscommunication and be sure my message is heard. Talking face to face I can also get an immediate feedback, which is often really important. Though sometimes I prefer texting, for example in situations where other means of communication are not possible or appropriate like during meetings, classes and seminars or when I don't want others to hear what I am saying.
