The international news I am going to tell you was about the presidential election of the United States. 1.What kind of news is more popular? Domestic news or international news?

Personally, I felt that in China domestic news is more popular than international news primarily because there is a problem with language barriers. In fact, according to some estimates, fewer than 10 million Chinese, or less than 1 % of the population speak English. In addition, I think in general, domestic news in China often ends on a positive note whereas international news creates an image that the problems that persist are unsolvable and depressing. However, as a language learner, I do find that international news is less biased than domestics ones.

2.Do you think children should pay more attention to the news?
