In the future, I am eager to be a translator who has some pieces of work that are known to the public. I have been crazy about learning English from a very early age because I felt I could remember the words and phrases just as easily as learning Chinese. Later I also learned some Japanese. Based on my own feeling, language means something special to me. My mother told me that I could read several ancient poems by the time I was only two years old when other kids at my age had just learned how to say hello. Later, all my teachers praised(称赞) that I was talented enough in language learning, which gave me much confidence.

Being asked this question, I couldn’t help thinking about an interview where there were several primary school students being asked what they would like to do in the future. The result was that most children wanted to be actors or actresses. I was not surprised at all to know the result because it reminded me of my own childhood experience. I was not an exception. So, I believe that children tend to like the job that is interesting enough such as actor or astronaut. What seems unrealistic might be exactly the dreamland for children. So, it’s appropriate for children to decide what kind of people they want to be, while parents should give some proper suggestions without too many restrictions.
