Last year, I found an internship in Sephora, which is one of the most famous cosmetic enterprises in the world, and it required me to do customer services during working hours. That was a big challenge for me. I started my internship life by consulting customers. In most cases, customers are quite adorable (可爱的，lovely). They accept our advice and present their credit card or cash with both hands. But unavoidably (不可避免地，inevitably), there are some difficult customers who make me really go ballistic (气坏了，mad). I hate those customers who pass by only to try the products on their faces; I also hate those customers who pull me and ask many questions then leave without taking any thing. 1.Why are people friendly with the person they don't like?

We all have people or even friends we don't particularly like, but I guess it’s okay that we spend an hour or a movie or dinner with them. You know, there are different levels of friendship. Some friends we spend less time with because they can be exhausting, depressing, or otherwise a bit of a pain to hang out with all the time, but they apparently consider us a friend, so it’s probably a good idea that we answer with politeness and friendliness. So yeah, I think most people manage to put up with people who they don’t like, out of politeness.
