When you learned it
Why you learned it
How you learned it
And explain how you felt when you learned it
雅思口语范文如下:
Many of my friends and colleagues say that I am proficient in(精通) computer especially in using Excel to deal with data and other tricky problems. However, what they don't know is that I used to be a green-hand(新手) in computer skills when I was at college. Things changed after my first internship(实习生) when I found it really hard to learn computer skills.
It was in my sophomore(大二) year that I worked as an intern in an audit(审计) company. You know, it's very busy and challenging to work in that field because I had to work with endless statistics and reports every day. But since I was majoring in Accounting at school, analyzing the report was not that difficult, it was sorting out(整理) the data that drove me crazy. That's why I learned from a colleague to produce pivot table(数据透视表). It's something like a calculation form that could combine different worksheets to figure out a certain data that you need.

Part 3
1.Is it hard for students to learn skills?
I think it’s easy for students to master new skills. You know, students are at the prime time for learning. They have abundant time to invest in picking up new skills. Most importantly, their parents often would support them financially, as many skills actually cost money to learn and to practice. For example, it cost me quite a bit to learn how to use Photoshop to edit pictures. The training courses for this skill is really expensive. Without my parents’ support, I would have been able to learn it.
2.Is it hard for old people to learn new skills?
Well, I’d say yes. Old people are often slow learners because they already have lots of stuff in their head. It’s probably too much for them to add any more skills. You know, once they’ve retired, many old people just want to slow down and enjoy life. Also, most old people can’t be bothered to update their skills as they probably think that’s unnecessary. You know, they’ve got children. Their children can always help them out. So, yeah, it’s not easy for the old generation to learn new things.
