It was about last month when I discovered that my projector was not working. My mum bought it as a birthday present for me in my senior high school and I have been using it for more than five years. Every night I would just turn it on and start to watch some really fascinating movies which helped me fall asleep quickly. But unfortunately the projector started to complain. When I just turned it on, this poor thing started to make loads of noises(疯狂制造噪音) which was extremely unbearable. Worse still(更糟的事), there seemed to be something wrong with the camera as the image on display was so blurred that I couldn't even recognize the face of the main characters(图像是如此的模糊以至于我连人物的脸都看不清). I hesitated a lot on whether I should try to repair it myself because I was in deep denial about myself(陷入自我否定).

I do think that IT-related job such as computer programming and software designing are better paid than other occupations. It's really hard to say. Perhaps it depends on different types of products. For some hightech appliances like our mobile phones and computers, they are becoming increasingly smarter and multi-functional.
