My favorite TV show is “Animal World”, which is broadcasted on CCTV(China Central Television). The show has a history of more than 20 years and now still remains in production.

I started watching this show when I was a child because my parents wanted me to gain some knowledge of nature through this show. One of my fondest childhood memories was when they watched the show with me.

“Animal World” aims to introduce different kinds of animals and plants to the audience. By watching this show, we can learn about various wildlife(野生动植物) on the earth. We do not have to really go to the wild. Also, we can understand the impact of nature on human beings.

1. What programs do people like to watch in your country?

At the moment, talent shows and reality shows are the most prevailing ones. I think it’s mainly because they are interactive and engaging. These shows often involve the audience by asking for a ballot from them. When the audience gets to pick their favourite candidate,the show turns into something personal and they are quite likely to follow them to the end. But apart from these ones, TV dramas are also well-liked in China, especially the history fantasies. People watch them and can sorta relate them to real history. It often creates room for discussion when there are differences between the real thing and the fantasy.
