I would like to share with you a funny story that I heard from my elder sister Moria years ago. It was just a typical day(平常的一天) when we went to a café where we visited regularly. We found a table near the window, our favorite spot, and then settled as we usually did. I ordered a skinny latte(脱脂拿铁) as usual, but Moria wanted to try something different this time, so she ordered a cup of mojito, a cocktail with mint.

The drink looked good but its taste was detestable(讨厌的,可憎的) for me. Despite (不管……) my kind reminder, Moria insisted on trying it. Surprisingly, after taking a sip(尝一口), she was quite fond of the drink and concluded that it’s like eating toothpaste in her childhood. That’s just insane! 1. How does technology help people tell stories?

I think technology makes stories more vivid and popular. Firstly, technology creates more ways to display stories, in the past, people mainly read stories from books, but now we could learn stories from short videos, radios, or television. Secondly, technology helps stories spread further due to the wide use of the internet. 2. What are the differences between reading stories and listening to stories?

I’d like to point out two differences between reading and listening to stories. First of all, listening to stories is more time-saving because one could deal with other things at the same time, while reading takes up more time and requires more attention.
