I read the novel "The three-body problem" about three years ago. In fact, the novel was first published in 2008, but I chose to read it after waiting for the novel and the movie to become popular.

"The Three-Body Problem" is a science fiction novel(科幻小说) that has three parts. The title refers to the three-body problem in orbital mechanics(轨道力学). The content of the book is about the game between terrestrial and extraterrestrial civilizations (地外文明的博弈), and how the earthlings protect humanity from invasion by extraterrestrial civilizations(地球人如何保护人类免受地外文明的入侵).

This novel is very famous and has many readers around the world. The English version of the novel was nominated for(提名) the 2014 Nebula Award(星云奖) by the American Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association(美国科幻奇幻作家协会) and won the 2015 Hugo Award(雨果奖) for Best Novel. I have heard that former US President Barack Obama is also a loyal fan, and during his tenure(在他任职期间), he let the author send him the first translation before it was published. At that time, the author thought the whole thing was a lie, and it was not until the US foreign affairs department approached the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs to coordinate the matter that he realized that it was true(直到美国外交部找中国外交部协调此事，他才意识到这是真的).
