In China, the elderly do not have many forms of entertainment, however playing cards can be a traditional activity which I am also interested in very much. And frankly speaking, my grandpa is the opponent who I respect the most.

Whenever our family members gather together for holiday meals(节日聚餐), there are always some card games. Card games are considered to be competitive projects which mean that to win you have to keep a keen mind, also accumulate enough experience. Well luck is also an important factor. You never know who would be the winner until the declaration of the result(宣布结果), that can be the reason why card games are so popular among all ages.
