I’m going to talk about when my parents praised me for my money management skills. My parents bought a new house earlier this year and spent a great deal of money on the interior design. Well, actually they spent over the budget (花费超出了预算). By the time we were due to move in, the kitchen wasn’t ready. My parents were thinking about borrowing money from the bank to finish the renovation(装修).

But just in the nick of time(正在紧要关头), I thought of the shares and funds I had invested a couple of years ago. I checked my account and my money had tripled!(我的钱翻了三倍!) I sold half of them and withdrew 50 thousand yuan. When I handed the money to my parents, they were shocked!
