For this topic, I would like to talk about Yang Yang, a popular young actor in China. Born in 1991, Yang majored in dancing in college and was selected to play his first role in a TV series in 2008.

I first came to know him when he starred in(主演) the teleplay “Dream of the Red Chamber”(红楼梦), which is adapted from(改编) the namesake(同名) classic novel in China. At that time, he was only about 17 years old, and he played a great role of the main character Baoyu Jia. However, a great number of audience members did not like that TV series due to the irreplaceable(无可替代的) status of the famous novel.
