One invention that has significantly impacted my life is the smartphone. A smartphone is a handheld device(手持设备) that allows me to make phone calls, send and receive text messages, access the internet, take photos and videos, listen to music, and perform various other functions.

Using a smartphone is very simple and intuitive(易懂的). You just need to tap on the icons with your finger to open different apps or functions. You can also use voice commands or virtual assistants like Siri or Google Assistant to make calls, send texts, or search for information.
