有人认为大学学习是最好的方式使得学生做好择业的准备。有人则高中毕业后就可以通过工作发展自己的事业，讨论两种观点，给出你的意见。

Nowadays university graduates seem like losing their competitive edge in the job market. Therefore, some people argue that en embrace to work as early as possible can better serve one's career development. In contrast, it is undoubtedly advocated by some people that going to college is rather a better alternative for one's future. Admittedly, both sides have their sound reasons.

Some arguments can be made to support the former view. Firstly, in the workplace, who can do jobs better gets more opportunities. Hence, one who starts working earlier can accumulate more hand-on experiences and practical skills, through which they are more likely to solve problems well facing to their employers. As a result, more opportunities, like in-service training and promotion,may be granted to them. Moreover, learning through workplace interaction can facilitate one's professional competency. Some jobs in sectors like mechanics, manufacturing and construction demand more empirical experiences in actual assignments and projects. Thus, one who involves earlier in those sectors，learning through work, including observation, communication and application can become more practically competent at work.

People who option of studying in colleges also have made their reasonable points. First of all, college education lays solid foundations for careers in some specific areas. Acquiring knowledge and skills in a more theoretical and systematical way in colleges prepares one to become capable professions, such as doctor, scientists and politicians, etc. Secondly, university education can provide one with a higher start point in their career. With adequate knowledge and a broader perspective, college graduate is more able to perform jobs in higher positions which usually require mental activities instead of manual laboring.

To conclude, I personally believe studying in a college can benefit one's career in terms of laying foundations in specific professions, and having a higher first step in career development.
