The line graph shows and predicts the vehicle number in England and Wales from 2000 to 2020 and the bar chart gives the information on the amount of C02 emission by four different forms of transport (cars, buses, vans and trucks) over the same period.

There were nearly 20 million vehicles in England and Wales in 2000. Then, the total number went up slightly to 35 million in the following ten years and is expected to experience a rapid upward tendency, reaching around 60 million in 2020.
