The line chart given reveals the change of the number of people who were born and died since 1950 and the projected figures into the next 35 years.

It is clear that the birth population experienced a dramatic change. With the initial number standing at around 1,330 thousand, the population gradually declined to 1,200 in 1970 before further sharply falling to 800 thousand in the following two decades. While the decreasing trend continued afterwards, the rate slowed down, especially after 2010, when less than 700 thousand babies were born. It is predicted that the population will be 550 thousand in 2050.

The line graph gives information about both the birth rate and death rate of a European country between 1950 and 2050.

In 1950, the total number of people in this country was roughly 750000. In the next 20 years, the newborn population climbed sharply to 1000000 and then it declined obviously to 550000 by 1990. After then, it increased again in the following two decades, at nearly 700000 in 2010. It is predicted that the birth rate will sill stay constant at 700000 before 2050.
