范文1:

Creative arts are displayed in various forms in our daily life, such as attractive statues in the open space, abstract paintings in a gallery, or experimental musicals on a stage, all of which please our senses and enrich our spiritual life. The creation of them not only involves artists’ imagination and devotion, but also a huge amount of money, which, in most cases, cannot be solely provided by artists themselves. Therefore, which party (the government or other institutions) should be responsible for funding creative arts has aroused a debate among people. For me, it depends on what country artists are in.

In develped countries, the government should be counted on to provide financial support for creative artists. The fact is that most people in regions like North Europe and the US, no longer worried about their material life, have a tradition of visiting art galleries and concerts. What they pursue is a more refreshing art work or art form. If the government can spot this trend and divert more fund to this area, then existing artists would be given more room and freedom to engage in creativity work. Another benefit is that it might encourage more students to study art. In a word, the government’s support is likely to result in a flourishing culture and enhance people’s well-being.

范文2:

Visual and auditory arts play a key role in education and entertainment, making these fields integral aspects of our society among all ages. Nevertheless, there is a controversial division about whether these areas ought to receive, or if they are even deserving of, any public funds.

The arts form an intrinsic part of a country and have an ability to maintain traditional culture, as long as it is prevented from being absorbed by modern or foreign influences. As a result, government should invest funds into these historical types of art in order to educate its citizens and preserve their existence. There are ancient paintings, theatrical arts and musical instruments that ought to be housed and conserved in museums. The destruction of these precious pieces of art could signify a considerable loss of culture, whereby future generations will miss out on them.

范文3:

The realization of basic human needs such as enough clothing and food makes it necessary for a more advanced spiritual enjoyment from art. For those who devote themselves to creating aesthetic works and pleasure, I think they should be supported by both government and other resources.

The government, as the central power that can accumulate a wealth of resources and execute them more systematically, should take the main responsibility to fund the artists. Most of the museums and art galleries are run and managed by governments and artists can be financially supported if the government makes it more accessible for artists to have their works of art exhibited. The authority can also issue some policies or regulations favoring the creation of innovative works of art, such as the reduction of tax levied on the artists and more subsidies for the encouragement of their contribution.
