The two maps demonstrate the great changes a certain place experienced from 1980 to 2000.

In 1980, it seemed that the villagers lived in harmony with nature. Surrounded by several mountains, the region was bisected by a river running from north to south. To the west of the river lay some architectural structures, to the north of which was a forest. On the southern side of the structures lived some rare animals and plants. On the east bank of the river was a large irrigated land, which played a key role in the life of the local villagers, who lived in the southeast of this region.

In 1980, there was a river flowing from north to south among mountains. On the left bank of river, there was a forest, which was located to the north of some structures. Meanwhile, several rare plants and animals lived close to these architectures. On the right side of this river, a large piece of irrigated land was scattered along the river, near local villages.
