The line chart compares the number of fish that was divided into four species during the period from 1982 to 2007.

In 1982, Atlantic cod had the dominant role in these kinds of fish (250,000), which however dropped dramatically in the following 20 years. After reaching the bottom of 60,000, it rose again and arrived at 100,000 in 2007. By contrast, swordfish was in the minority among these fish, with the figure keeping stable at 10,000 during the 25-year period.
