For example, social networking sites and different modes of computer-based communication technology make it possible for children to reach others effectively and foster a friendship with people from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, powerful searching engines and forums enable them to contact with new information that can be hardly acquired in the textbooks. Therefore, children tend to opt for computer-related games for leisure activities rather than any other forms of entertainment. This problem is particularly acute in some well-off communities where children are raised with the companionship of computer devices.
