As is revealed in this bar chart, there is a substantial difference in the proportion of males and females in university in 6 countries.

Overall, young people were more likely to be seen in America, Norway and Finland. To be specific, there were respectively 70% of younger generation in America and Finland both in 2000 and 2007, compared to 65% of Norway. While in other three countries: Italy, Spain, and UK, adolescents occupy around a half of campus students during the period given.
