2013年7月13日雅思大作文范文：Nowadays the trend of human beings to copy from one another is shown in the popularity of fashion in clothes and other consumers' goods. To what extend do you agree or disagree?

Owing to globalization, commercial products circulate globally in a rapid pace. Therefore, there has been a phenomenon that some people in the business arena, such as fashion industry and IT sector, tend to copy and imitate products which have been well-recognized and popular. Speaking for myself, I do not think copying is a desirable activity, especially for business purposes.

To begin with, copying creates harms to creativity and innovation. Admittedly, imitation could yield creativity under some circumstances. However, mere copy, a can-be piracy, is detrimental to creativity and innovation as innovators spend much time on creating original products, which, however, can be easily copied and sold for great profits. As a result, the motive for creators to innovate can be dispelled, which hinder the creativity nerves.

Besides, the activity of copying violates the owner's rights over the intellectual properties. No matter it is a fashionable dress or a hit digital product, that is the asset or even patent of either individuals or entities, which is produced with intelligence and hard work. Thus, provided that someone steals the design and make a similar product with a purpose of profit-making, it is an absolutely infringement on the owner's right.

Last but not least, copying can be a virus spreading the perception that success can result from easiness, such as copying. If one copies and succeeds, there will be definitely more people catching on to do the same. Consequently, nobody would try to strive for success through hard work and the society will be diseased.

In summary, I absolutely maintain that copying exerts a lot of threats in terms of hindering growing creation, violating owner's rights over the intellectual properties, and leading to the misperception regarding success.
