The bar chart gives the information about five leading factorsthat the students choose a university in Great Britain in the year of 1985 and 2005.

As is shown clearly, the most striking feature of the chart is that the percentage of studying for degree courses was significantly higher than other reasons.More precisely,the percentage occupied as high as 35% in 1985,experiencing a slight rise by 5% in 2005. This factor was followed by the purpose of school resources, whose rates were fairly close to each other, around 25%.

The chart compares five main reasons why students chose a typical university in Britain in 1998 and 2005.

According to the bar chart, more than 25% of students went to the university in Britain because of its resources in 1995, which was slightly greater than the figure of 25% in 2005. Furthermore, it is noticeable that those who chose that university in the UK for the reason of degree course accounted for the largest proportion among five causes both in 1985 and 2005 , 35% and 40% respectively. On the contrary, the reason for distance between home and school took up the smallest percentage, reaching 10%, while in 2005 the rate of distance cause experienced rapid increase to approximately 23%.
