The first chart illustrates how many people are there for each square kilometer in 6 countries in 2003. Obviously, Japan had the largest population density with 338 people per square kilometer, closely followed by the UK（almost 250 people）. Comparatively, the population density was smaller, with nearly 200 people living within one square kilometer. Surprisingly, there were considerably fewer people in the remaining three countries, with 20 people in Sweden and only 3 both in Canada and Australia.
