As the corporate management seems to value the employees' work performance ,it is suggested that the dress code can be ignored on the condition that the solid results can be achieved .I would argue otherwise that appropriate attire is indispensable for a corporate's overall development.

Indeed, the fundamental purpose of an establishment of an enterprise is to make profit .It is understandable for the employers to concentrate on boosting the profit .Those who are capable to help their bosses to achieve the goal are variably the most popular and seem to become undisciplined. In the long run ,this disturbing "malignant tumor" will spread fast just like influenza that will exert extremely negative impacts on their department and even the firm as a whole.

Dress codes are sets of standards to guide employees about what is appropriate to wear in work. Many employers nowadays find these codes unnecessary as the quality of work somewhat determines profits. However, I believe the way employees dress should be a vital issue about which employers should be concerned.

Initially, without a strict dressing code, a company would lose its corporate image and customers’ loyalty. The first impressions are always crucial, especially in the service industry, such as banks, law offices, and financial consulting firms. Wearing a formal attire in such companies not only shows respect to clients but also represents professionalism and high quality services. Without it, the image of a company will gradually become worse, thus possibly leading to failure in keeping customers. As a result, the quality of work can not be promised.
