This map describes how the layout of South Wing of Walton Museum changed during the years from 2008 to 2012.

In 2008 , a path was built to connect to the special exhibition room whose eastern side was the shop .In the north of the exhibition room was the entrance which directly leaded to the reception and reading room further .A cloakroom could be seen at the southeastern corner of the museum and made it availabe for visitors to get there by the stairs next to the shop.
