The table indicates the amount of water which three sectors in four different countries consumed, measured in million tonnes.

It is obvious that agriculture played a dominant role in water consumption in Egypt and Saudi Arabia with the former being slightly higher than the latter(82 and 64). It is worth mentioning that Egypt had a roughly balanced distribution of water in domestic and industrial areas(12 and10 for each), and meanwhile, the amount of water used by industry in Saudi Arabia was exactly threefold as much as that of domestic sector(30 and 10).

Turning to New Zealand and Canada, the situation experiences a totally different story. To be specific, industrial water use occupied the first position(46 and 70 respectively). In
