The table presents the percentage of people who hoped to increase the UK government’s investment on health, education and other fields in 2009.

From the table we can clearly see that most males (55%) hoped that the government could invest more money on education, compared to merely 20% among females. While 65% of women stated that they hoped to see an upper trend of government investment on health, only 15% of their counterparts presented the same thought.
