On the one hand, watching foreign films or TV programs may help a culture become more tolerant. After knowing how people of other cultures live a different lifestyle by watching films or TV programs, individuals may have a more comprehensive understanding of other cultures, and they may begin to accept some traditions and customs they never experience before. In such a situation, their culture will become more diverse and opener since it may accept and incorporate thoughts of various cultures.
