The age old question of commuting time is one that will never cease (句型梳理). It is suggested that public areas make way for residential areas to decrease the traveling time, but I think outdoor relaxing places should not be sacrificed to save commuting time.

Admittedly, it is an irrefutable fact that constructing more apartments is a good way to give workers more choices of where to live, helping them shorten the traveling time, by which they can also be released/freed/extricated (解脱v. ) from the rush hours and have more time to relax.

Instead of being stalled (拖延) in the bumper-to-bumper traffic (拥堵的交通) andinching (inch vi. 缓慢移动) along the clogged (阻塞的) road, it is self-evident (adj. 自证其名的) that when workers live closer to their companies, they can walk or go cycling to work.
