Since the economic development is uneven around the world, people living in underdeveloped areas often have financial difficulties, and some are even suffering from starvation.

Some economists hold that economic growth is the sole solution to tackle the problem. In the past few decades, some developed countries have constantly provide those poor areas with humanitarian aid including funds and food, yet no significant improvement is perceivable. This fact indicates that only by developing a nation’s economy can it enhance the living standard of its population permanently. This is because when a country’s manufacturing and services industries are booming, an increasing number of job opportunities would be created, and people’s income increased; as a result, fewer people would be obsessed with poverty or famine.
