International business as well as tourism contribute positively to our society in terms of economy and culture.

With a close contact with expertise from other countries through international meeting, local engineers and policy makers may have a broader view of which should be better and this acitivity may push people’s horizon and create a brighter prospect for local society. For example, Nanjing government has invited many professionals to help give advices on how to effectively and safely design a road when it planned to establish a new city center on the north side of the Yangtze River. Different from a previous view that the road should be built widely enough to decrease the traffic accident, statistical data and experiences from foreign countries showed the opposite results that much wider roads may lead to more traffic accidents. This will exactly benefit the layout of roads in new center. Another new concept such as constructing a green town with rich culture is also becoming receptive. Taking advantages of connecting with foreign experts, local society will develop scientifically.

The advantages of linking with foreign visitors are also obvious. First, local economy will be advanced with the tourism. Restaurants, hotels and visiting spots will get noticeable incomes. Second, the boom of tourism will perfect the service standard in these areas. In order to make foreigners understand what they provide, these hot places offer bilingual descriptions, which is beneficial to uplift the image of the society. Being exposed to fresh culture and exotic behaviour, local people tend to be inclusive to different activities and form a new custom which may be more adaptable to the current society

Overall, perhaps there may be some drawbacks and local customs may face challenging, but these plausible disadvantages fail to lessen the significance of touching with foreign culture, knowledge and lifestyles. The globalization breeds culture exchange and economy flourish and the benefits stemming from this communication are remarkable.
