The maps present the change of the riverside view since 1980.

In 1980, the river functioned as a port where goods were stored and transported. The river ran from the west to the east, ending up into the coast. Some warehouses were dotted along both banks in order to store the goods. Cranes were equipped on the north bank to lift heavy goods and upload the ships which anchored on the water.

Today big changes have occurred. The equipment for transportation and storage has all gone, replaced by some entertainment facilities and accommodation buildings. To be specific, on the northern bank a river museum has been built on the west, which is next to the kid’s play field. Further to the east, there is a bar where visitors can take a sip of some drink. A bridge flies over the river, ....
