The two pie charts illustrate changes in the percentage of the pollutants entering a particular part of ocean over the course of 10 years (1997 to 2007).

In 1997, the pollutant from air constituted the largest proportion among all pollution resources, with 30%. Despite a slight increase by 1%, it remained the dominate one in 2007.

While the proportion of domestic sewage experienced a remarkable increase from 18% to 29% during the period. The percentage of marine decreased from 22% to 17%; and the industrial waste showed a similar pattern, declining from 17% to 9%. While offshore oil displayed an opposite trend with an increase by 9% (from 5% to 14%). In 2007, litter and farm waste shared a similar percentage, both of which were 4%. ......
