Increasing number of people have regarded environmental degradation as one of the main challenges that humans have to meet in the 21st century .And some argue that this disturbing problem can be alleviated ,to some extent ,by raising the cost of fuels. Whether this will resolve the problem is very unlikely as automobiles，which are indispensable for people's daily life ,are not expected to disappear on the road due to the expensive fuel cost. In fact ,I do not believe this is the best or only way to protect the environment .

It is not unusual to read the related report about the news of escalating the fuel charge . By doing this , the car owners actually are noticed the risk of emitting more harmful gases ,thus effectively reducing unnecessary use of vehicles . Besides, this measure enables the government to serve the public better in environmental conservation and transportation by the revenue.

All world problems ,whether environmental pollution ,war,energy insufficiency or famine ,arise from the abusive behavior all individuals(都是人们的滥用行为所造成).The solution to these problems , by nature ,is the need for a collective consciousness . What is meant by this is that every individual should be informed of the impact of the environmental pollutionand his unique part he plays in the world . Making life easier is strongly advised for citizens to be eco-friendly . Walk or cycle to commute ,use public transport instead of private cars , use more durable products and materials ,and reuse shopping bags and recycle cans and bottles (这些都是环境保护类的必需短语哦，有空常回来看看哈!).After all , humans and the earth are interrelated and interdependent .In this respect , only humans can become responsible individuals , the environment repay them well .

What is needed ,therefore ,is education . Education is the cornerstone of addressing the root cause of a wide variety of social problems , and surely environmental issue is no exception . Furthermore,education should start from childhood and adulthood and beyond . Kids need go to schools to be imparted knowledge about earth , living things and environment . Adults need to be provided the opportunities to learn about the harm of irresponsible behaviors .。。。。。
